Connie Sokol

Connie Sokol is an at-home mother of six. She is also a national presenter, tv host of LIFEChange on KJZZ, and internet radio host of LIFEChange Live!. Mrs. Sokol is the former host of LIFEChange segments on KSL's Studio 5 and AM 820 (Bonneville/KSL). She is a regular columnist for Deseret News, Utah Valley Magazine and Wasatch Woman magazine. With her left toe she is the author of Are You Ready for a LIFEChange? and Life is Too Short for One Hair Color, and Life is Too Short for Sensible Shoes. Mrs. Sokol is president of LIFEChange, a personal life coaching program helping women and families create and live their ideal life. Mrs. Sokol marinates in time spent with her family and eating decadent treats.

Linda Eyre

Linda and her husband Richard lecture and present keynotes and seminars throughout the world on parenting, lifebalance, and values-based time management to audiences ranging from national conventions and senior corporate management to state and local chapters and educational entities.

 

One of the Eyres' best-selling co-authored books, Teaching Your Children Values, became the first parenting book in fifty years (since Dr. Spock) to reach #1 on the New York Times best-seller list. Amanda Dickson

Class: Joy In the Juggling Act!

 

Amanda Dickson co-hosts Utah's #1 rated morning show, "Utah's Morning News with Grant and Amanda," on KSL Newsradio. Amanda contributes much of her time outside of radio to the local community. She sits on the board of the National Kidney Foundation of Utah, the National Advisory Board for Hale Centre Theatre, and the Governor's Committee for the Employment of People with Disabilities.

 

The Salt Lake Olympic Committee asked Amanda to host the Closing Ceremonies pre-show at Rice-Eccles Stadium in 2002, saying they felt she best represented the spirit of Utah. Amanda earned her B.A. in English and her Jurist Doctorate at the University of Utah. In her private time, Amanda enjoys jogging, writing, cooking and is a voracious reader.

Mary Crafts

Class: Secret to Happiness...Can I Really Have it All?


Mary Crafts is an artist whose medium is events and food. Together with her husband Ron, Mary has guided their catering company Culinary Crafts, through 23 successful years. They create fabulous events at venues throughout the Salt Lake Valley with their trademark impeccable service and scrumptious food.

 

Some of their clients include The International Olympic Committee, Sports Illustrated, American Express and Sundance Film Festival, with guests that have run the gamut from Diane Keaton to the last five governors of Utah and the President of the United States.

Doug Brinley

Douglas E. Brinley earned degrees in economics from Utah State University and a Ph.D from Brigham Young University in Family Studies. He is presently a professor of Church history & doctrine at BYU.

 

He has authored or co-authored 9 books on marriage and family relations including Between Husband & Wife: Gospel Perspectives on Marital Intimacy, First Comes Love, (a book for engaged couples), and its sequel Then Comes Marriage, and Living a Covenant Marriage. His 10th and newest book, concerns the past, present, and future of America, entitled, America's Hope.

Nancy Hanson

Recording Artist-Local Utah Favorite

Performs regularly with Ryan Shuppe and Peter Breinhold

 

 

 

Nancy Hanson’s songwriting is simple, honest and from the heart. Her guitar playing and stage presence are strong and compelling.
Nancy’s debut CD, “Drops In a Bucket”, released in 1997, earned rave reviews from both critics and fans alike. Produced by noted composer and recording artist, Sam Cardon, the album reflects all that Nancy is.

 

In 2003, Nancy released her second album just in time for the Christmas season. “All Wrapped Up”, produced by Ryan Shupe & Craig Miner, is an upbeat, acoustic collection of 8 familiar Christmas tunes with two new original songs.

 

Nancy has shared her music in many great little venues throughout the country. Her favorites being the Bluebird Café in Nashville, the Fast Folk Café in New York City, and the campfires of the Kerrville Folk Festival. Successfully Navigating Singlehood, Post-divorce and Communication

 

 

Koko Cardiff is a single mom of two incredible girls, ages 10 and 12. She believes in putting her family first above anything else. Koko has her undergraduate in education and is presently a P.E. teacher. She is also working on her master's in Psychology. Koko loves to speak, especially to women. This passion began when she was asked to speak at Stake Women retreats. Koko is in the process of writing her first book and has written songs. Her favorite things to do are, to spend time with her girls, go on vacations, concerts, and cooking. She truly believes we each have the strength within us to heal any pain we have endured and to be able to live healthy, happy lives.

 

 

 

 

Tamara Fackrell, J.D. is an Attorney Mediator in the State of Utah. She graduated Cum Laude from BYU Law School and is currently part-time faculty at the Law School teaching Mediation. She received the Phi Alpha Delta Professor of the Year Award in 2006. She has had a private mediation practice focusing on divorce and domestic mediation since 1997. Tamara helped to initiate the Victim Offender Mediation Program in the Fourth District Juvenile Court and also the Provo School District Truancy Program. She has taught thousands of at-risk youth and professionals principles of conflict resolution, communication, mediation, and negotiation. Tamara is a Master Mediator and Primary Trainer for the State of Utah and performs certifications in mediation for professionals. Tamara and her husband Jacob are the parents of six children. She enjoys swimming, boating, camping, faux painting, playing the piano and composing music.

 

Melissa Wright is a native of Arizona and has lived in Utah since 1989 when she began attending Brigham Young University. After receiving her Bachelor of Science from BYU, she stayed in Utah to establish her professional career. Joining Axiom Financial, a mortgage-lending firm headquartered in Salt Lake City, Melissa worked as Vice President from the company's founding in 1996 until Fall of 2006 when she was promoted to President. While balancing her love for her large family, which includes 6 siblings and 21 nieces and nephews, Melissa worked hard to build an award-winning organization and has been proud to see Axiom Financial receive the Best of State in Mortgage Banking recognition for an unprecedented 3 years in 2004, 2005, and 2007.
