My ultimate goal as a licensed and registered dietitian is to share my passion for nutrition and fitness wellness with others. As an ACE (American Council on Exercise) certified personal trainer and an ACE and AEA (Aquatics Exercise Association) group fitness instructor, I am devoted to advocating healthy lifestyles through programs of balanced nutrition and exercise that are both fun and flexible with everyday life. I have counseled individuals and families in both clinical and fitness settings in managing their weight and various health conditions. My experience consists of coaching, educating, and motivating individuals working with a variety of nutrition and fitness concerns, including emotional ties to food, weight management, cardiovascular health, and eating disorders.

As an active member of the American Dietetic Association and Weight Management practice group I enjoy staying up with nutrition and fitness research. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Food Sciences from Utah State University. My priorities are my husband and daughter, and in my spare time, I love running, backpacking, and cooking new creations, using my willing husband as the guinea pig!

I am a mother and do all of the amazing and ordinary things that mothers do every day (sometimes pretty well and other times not the greatest!), but I am an optimist and love the possibilities of life! I graduated from college with a degree in design, and love projects—almost anything creative, especially love “trash to treasure”. My husband and I competed in a fitness competition few years ago and I was able to reach the best physical condition I have ever been in. Through that process I learned some wonderful skills that can be used for life, and have come to realize that fitness is a continual journey!

I have had some amazing opportunities, like running the Olympic Torch for the 2002 Winter Games (nominated for having a positive influence on the lives of others), being the oldest of 10 children and still on speaking terms with them all! Living in the Philippines and serving the people there for 18 months. Life has also brought some sad and difficult experiences. I have struggled to get pregnant and being pregnant has been one of my most difficult trials. We had a stillborn little girl at 38 weeks and 2 years later, the miscarriage of a baby boy. But I truly believe these experiences have made me who I am today, and have strengthened my faith in God.

My goal as a LIFECoach is to assist women in living the life they love! Having specifically been searching to learn what that means for me, I have discovered that I love working with women especially when they have the desire to reach the wonderful potential that each has.

My name is Alison Anderson and I have been married for nearly 20 years, and have five children ranging in age from 18 to 7 years old. My family is my most valuable asset, and I consider being a loving companion to my husband and the faithful nurturing of my children my greatest priority. I relish in the therapy of weeding, exercising with friends, writing, and playing the guitar. Flowers make me happy and so does my toy poodle Hannah. Supporting a loved one through the difficult path of pornography addiction recovery is teaching me the value of setting boundaries, strengthening my faith, forgiveness, and fortitude.
